Fanzle BV ("Rallion," "we," "us") operates the Rallion app, which matches sports fans for 1:1 and small group chats. We are the data controller.

Information we collect

You provide:

• Account: email address, username/display name, avatar or profile photo.
• Fan profile (questionnaire): sports, leagues, favourite players/teams, fandom intensity, conversation style, age range, and time zone — used for matching.
• Content: messages in DMs and group chats, photos/images, voice messages, and stickers you create.

Collected automatically:

• Identifiers: a user ID and a device push token.
• Usage data: app interactions and feature usage (analytics).
• Diagnostics: crash and performance data.
• Activity: "last active" timestamps for presence (subject to your privacy settings).

We do not collect precise location, financial, or health data, and we do not track you across other apps or for advertising.

How we use it (GDPR legal bases)

• Provide the service — matching, chat, profiles (performance of a contract).
• Safety & moderation — automated screening of messages and images for harmful content (legitimate interests).
• Notifications — push alerts (consent, where required).
• Improve the app — analytics and diagnostics (legitimate interests).
• AI features — conversation prompts, translation, sticker creation (performance of a contract / legitimate interests).

Service providers (sub-processors)

We share data only with providers processing it on our behalf:

• Supabase — database, storage, authentication.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Sentry — crash/error diagnostics.
• Expo — push notification delivery.
• OpenAI — content moderation (messages and images screened for safety).
• Anthropic — AI features (e.g., translation, conversation prompts).
• Replicate — sticker image generation from photos you choose.
• Giphy — GIF/sticker search.
• Apple, Google — app distribution and push delivery.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers are located outside the EEA (e.g., the US). Where data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems; residual backup copies are deleted on a rolling basis within 30 days. We may retain limited records where required by law or to prevent abuse.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port your data, and withdraw consent. Delete your account in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or at fanzle.app/delete-account. For other requests, email privacy@fanzle.app. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children

Rallion is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll post the new date here and notify you in-app of material changes.
